What Is an Influencer Marketplace? A Creator's Guide

I want to help you turn your content into income.

I’m Leo.

I have over 15 years marketing experience and I’ve built influencer programs from scratch, run creator campaigns for major brands, and helped launch tools that connect creators and companies.

If you’ve got an audience, or you’re building one, and you’re putting in the work, let’s start getting you paid.

What’s an Influencer Marketplace?

Think of it like a dating site, but for content and collabs.

An influencer marketplace is a platform that connects creators and brands.

On one side, brands use these tools to post campaigns, find creators, and manage partnerships.

On the other side, creators (that’s you) can join these platforms, apply to paid opportunities, get discovered, and even set your own rates in some cases.

Influencer Marketplaces You Can Join

Below is a list of real, brand-facing influencer marketplaces.

This is by no means an extensive list. If you're a creator using a marketplace not listed here, or you're a company that wants to be included, reach out to me. Happy to keep this growing.

Disclaimer: I don’t officially endorse any of these. I’ve tried some, not all, and the info comes from public sources. Please, please do your own research and go with what feels right for you.

Before You Sign Up: Try to Get These in Place

You don’t need to be perfect, but you do need to look and be ready.

Consider making the following:

  1. A simple media kit or one-pager (Canva makes this easy)
  2. Collect a few strong, recent posts that show your niche and style
  3. A bio that tells brands what you do, who you speak to, and why they should work with you

Don’t overthink it. Just be clear and confident.

And if you need help, I’m here for that too.

Frequently Asked Questions

An influencer marketplace is a platform that connects creators with brands for paid partnerships. Brands post campaigns and find creators, while creators browse opportunities, apply to work with brands, and in some cases set their own rates. Think of it as the infrastructure layer for influencer marketing.

Brands sign up and post campaigns describing what they need: content type, platform, audience, and budget. Creators sign up, build a profile, and either apply to campaigns they find or get discovered by brands browsing the platform. Once matched, the marketplace handles the collaboration workflow and often the payment too.

An agency is a service business that manages influencer campaigns for you. A marketplace is a self-serve platform where you do the finding and matching yourself. Agencies cost more and do more work. Marketplaces give you direct access and more control, usually at a lower cost or no cost to join as a creator.

Not always. Many platforms on this list have no minimum follower requirement at all. Some prioritize content quality and engagement over raw follower counts. A few require 1,000+ followers, and enterprise platforms like CreatorIQ are invite-only. The best starting point is any platform that accepts beginners.

Payment methods vary by platform. Most use direct deposit or PayPal after a campaign is completed and approved. Some platforms advertise fast payouts as a feature. Always read the payment terms before committing to a campaign so you know the timeline and any fees involved.
